God is With Us

So do not fear, for I am with you;
    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.   Isaiah 41:10

God is our refuge and strength,
    an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

God Gives Us Peace

You will keep in perfect peace
    those whose minds are steadfast,
    because they trust in you.  Isaiah 26:3

God is Watching Out for Us

For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.  2 Chronicles 16:9

God is our Refuge

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1 

Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. Psalm 91:14

Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me,
    for in you I take refuge.

What is our part when life is hard?

We know that God is one hundred percent sovereign and good. And we know that we have choices to make about our response and actions during the pandemic.

God Wants us to Have Courage

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.    Joshua 1:9

God Wants us to Trust Him

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.   Philippians 4:6-7

God Wants us to be Wise

The prudent see danger and take refuge,
    but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. Proverbs 22:3

God Wants us to Grow

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.   James 1:2-4

God Wants us to be Available to Him

In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.  2 Timothy 2:20-21

God Wants us to Pray for Others

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18

God Wants us to Tell Others

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. 1 Peter 3:15
